Dosage:
Use Brain Octane™ 8: 0 MCT oil as a supplement to the usual oils in your diet. It should not be used to fully replace them. Upgraded ™ 8: 0 MCT oil has no flavor and enhances the natural flavor of the food. The oil is liquid at room temperature and is thus easy to use in Bulletproof Coffee, smoothies, salad dressings or other recipes. The oil is also suitable for cooking below 160 degrees. Start by using 1 tsp Brain Octane™ 8: 0 MCT oil a day and increase gradually over several days until the optimal dose is reached: 1-3 tablespoons per day. Too much MCT oil, especially if the intake is done on an empty stomach, can have a laxative effect or result in nausea.
This is a dietary supplement and should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of children. The daily dose should not be exceeded. Ask your doctor before using this product if you are at risk for kidney stones.
