Bulletproof Chocolate Powder is formulated to achieve a cocoa powder of the highest quality. Every step of production has been optimized to bring out the most of the exquisite taste, oils and antioxidants and prevent the formation of toxins from mold. Bulletproof Chocolate Powderis produced from the cacao beans Forastero Arriba, which have a mild flavor, and are considered to be equal with the world's best beans. It is also ecologically and unheated.

Bulletproof Chocolate Powder is produced from wild-grown, hand-harvested cocoa beans from a single area with rich volcanic soil located at high altitude in South America. The cocoa beans are of the variety Forastero Arriba from decades old trees, some as old as 75 years. The trees are watered with clean water from mountain springs. Experienced cocoa farmers harvest the ripe cocoa beans and take them to a nearby first-class facility for processing.

All cocoa needs to be fermented to become edible. Several of the molds present in the fermentation of cocoa beans can emit mold toxins, known as mycotoxins (1). The cocoa beans used for Bulletproof Chocolate Powder ate only allowed a short fermentation. Choosing cocoa beans from a single plantation letting the fermentation takes place at high altitude in a closed facility minimizes the risk of mold growth. This process provides a lower exposure to different types of mycotoxins compared to other types of cacao processing.

The rich flavours and oils are retained in the raw beans by letting them sun dry quickly in the fresh mountain air. The beans are then ground into a fine powder with equipment specifically designed for Bulletproof Chocolate Powder. Thereby retaining the content of antioxidants throughout the refinement process until the final product. The beans are 100% organic and wild-grown.

 

How to use Bulletproof Chocolate powder

You can mix Bulletproof Chocolate Powder and Bulletproof Cacao Butter together on very low heat to make your own Bulletproof Chocolate Cake and Fudge (for chocolate used more cocoa powder and more cocoa butter for fudge). To get a sweeter taste, you can add Bulletproof Vanillamax and if you want to make them really sweet, you can add raw honey.

To make hot chocolate, mix both cocoa powder and cocoa butter in 1-2 cups of warm water with optional sweetening (for example: stevia, xylitol or raw honey) with organic butter or concentrated coconut milk.
